POS – LIFE CYCLE

The most useful part to understand is the POS lifecycle. Once we are clear about the whole POS system life cycle, the complete POS system becomes very easy to setup and use.

Categories Life Cycle

To complete a successful POS transaction, there are few functionalities/conditions should be performed. Here in Life Cycle of Categories we have few stages which should be performed or available before making a retail POS transaction. Let’s explain the POS –Categories life cycle step by step.

  • We have to create a category first from Add Category
  • Then we have to create product against the available categories from Add Product
  • Then we have to add that product into stock through Add Purchase
    • Now there are 2 conditions would be occurred. If vendor is exist, then Add Purchase will be done and it will be moved towards Add Sale.
    • Else we have to add vendor through Add Vendor
    • After adding vendor, we have to add stock through Add Purchase functionality and then it will be moved towards Add Sale.
  • In Add Sale, if we do not have any register assigned, we have to assign a register first for which we make sale-transactions.
    • According to the condition here, if there is no register available, we have to create a register through Add Register
